Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla are all set to marry each other at Woodville Palace in Shimla, tomorrow. And now, we have come across the first picture of the bride to be as she posed with her mommy with her bridal mehendi. The telly actress is seen wearing a floral creation for the ceremony. Her picture with her mommy with the mehendi is so cute that it needs to be framed ASAP! Their haldi will take place in just a few hours followed by a ring ceremony where her friends will be performing.

During an interview with Hindustan Times, Rubina talked about her wedding and revealed, “To keep the wedding a private affair, we will have the functions in a palace in Shimla, away from the media. Our families will also be more comfortable without the media around. However, we will invite the media and our friends to the reception in Mumbai. I always wanted a fairytale wedding and wanted to get married in a palace, and I am glad that this dream will come true. It is a privilege and an honour that Raj Kumar Uday Singh said that they would love to host the wedding at the palace. It is a beautiful heritage palace that has stood since the time of the British rule.” Few of Rubina’s close friends Sharad Kelkar, Keerti Kelkar, Srishty Rode and Hussain and Tina Kuwajerwala have already arrived at the venue.

The baraat will be arriving at 11:30 am tomorrow. Abhinav had mentioned earlier that out of all the rituals, he will definitely not be performing one and that is riding on a horse during his baraat. Abhinav added to this by saying, “I am completely against it. I don’t want to trouble an animal, who can’t express pain or exhaustion, to mark my big day.” When asked about the proposal, Abhinav told a section of the media that, “I first informed her parents and my family connected with hers. I did bring up the topic of marriage with her, but it wasn’t followed by a dramatic Hollywood-like proposal of going down on my knees and popping the question.” Their wedding will be attended by just a few friends and family. With a Royal touch to the wedding, it will be hosted by Raj Kumar Uday Singh. They will later have a grand reception in Mumbai that will take place in Kishore Kumar’s Bungalow, Juhu Tara Road, Mumbai, on June 28.
