After treating fans with teasers and posters, Netflix has now released a trailer for its first Indian Original Series Sacred Games. Starring Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte in lead roles, Sacred Games is one of the most highly awaited web series of this year. The web series marks Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s debut in the digital world. Nawazuddin took to his Twitter Handle to share the trailer and tweeted its link.
The gripping trailer opens with Saif Ali Khan’s character Sartaj Singh receiving a phone call from Ganesh Gaitonde (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) who tells him that his life is about to be changed and he has 25 days to save his city. The phone call poses hazard to Sartaj’s career as his seniors question him regarding his connections with the caller. He gets a suspension order and is also asked to surrender his weapon. Gaitonde tells Sartaj that he is his father Dilbaug Singh’s friend. A subordinate warns Sartaj and tells him to be cautious as it could be a trap, yet Sartaj goes all out to save the city. Well, needless to say, the trailer will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Based on Vikram Chandra’s critically-acclaimed bestselling novel of the same name, Sacred Games is directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane. Saif will be seen playing a cop while Nawazuddin an underworld don in the series. Produced by Phantom Films, Sacred Games is the first Indian Netflix original series that shows an intriguing world set in the dark underbelly of Mumbai, where politics, crime and passion come together in a deadly game. Apart from Saif and Nawazuddin, it also stars Surveen Chawla, Elnaaz Norouzi, Anupriya Goenka and Rajshri Deshpande.
