Not much is known about the 20-year-old daughter of former Bollywood actress and television talk show host Pooja Bedi, but it has emerged that she will be starring opposite actor Saif Ali Khan in a new movie. Aalia Furniturewalla, Pooja’s daughter, is set to make her debut in a Nitin Kakkar movie named Jawani Janeman. Saif plays the lead and Aalia will be playing the part of his teenage daughter.

According to a Filmfare report, Jawani Janeman, which is expected to go on floors in London next year, is a movie about a 40-year-old man who refuses to grow up and realises accidentally that he is a father to a teenager. Aalia had herself shared the news on her Instagram page with the caption: “Beyonnnnnd excited to finally be able to share the news of my first film!???? honoured, grateful and overjoyed to be a part of #JawaaniJaaneman with #SaifAliKhan!”

A source revealed the following to Filmfare, “Yes, Aalia Furniturewalla has been roped in for the Nitin Kakkar film. She has really liked the script of Jawani Janeman. And she is super excited to work with Saif Ali Khan who plays the role of her father.”

Aalia Furniturewalla is Pooja Bedi’s daughter with ex-husband Farhan Ebrahim Furniturewalla. And Pooja is the daughter of actor Kabir Bedi and the late Protima Bedi. Mother and daughter have been spending good quality time together, as is evident from the pictures that have been shared.

Saif, on the other hand, was last seen in Baazaar, a movie set in the backdrop of money, power and business, largely based on the stock market. It was directed by Gauravv K. Chawla, and written by Nikkhil Advani, Aseem Arora and Parveez Sheikh. Apart from Saif, it starred Chitrangada Singh, Radhika Apte and debutant Rohan Mehra.
