Last year, there were reports that Salman Khan and Remo D’Souza are collaborating for a dance film. Titled Dancing Dad, the film was to also star Jacqueline Fernandez. Later there were reports that stated that the film that revolved around a father-daughter relationship has been shelved but according to latest reports, the film is happening and the superstar will begin work on the film a soon as he finishes the shoot of Bharat which also stars Priyanka Chopra and Disha Patani in the lead.

While talking to Mirror, Salman opened up about the dance film with Remo. He said, “Remo and I were supposed to do another dance film last year but, unlike what he’d like to believe, everybody can’t dance, and I messed up my shoulder while training for the sequences. So that film was put on hold. Then, Race 3 came along. Now, this dance film is happening, and I will be training extensively for it.” The actor will begin work on the film with Remo before Kick 2. He said, “I take off on the Da-Bangg Reloaded world tour next month-end, then there’s Bharat and Dabbang. Since the script of Kick 2 isn’t ready yet, I’ll start Remo’s film first.”

At the moment, the actor is busy with the promotions of Race 3. The action thriller is directed by Remo D’Souza and will hit theatres on June 15. Apart from Salman, the film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem and Daisy Shah, The film is backed by Salman Khan Films and Ramesh Taurani under the banner of Tips Films.
