Actor Salman Khan has always maintained that he won’t perform any intimate scene including a kiss-scene in any of his films. He is sure to conform to the same norm while making films under his banner Salman Khan Films. The superstar talked about feeling uncomfortable with intimate scenes in films and web-series. The actor spoke to a daily in an interview and said that he finds a lot of content available on web ‘shocking.’ Salman said that even though he understands that the digital content is for private viewing, he still finds it ‘awkward.’
In an interview with DNA, he mentioned that he will always support clean cinema and that’s the kind of content he will promote through his banner. Salman Khan explained that instead of having intimate scenes in his films that will only be considered suitable for a section of the audience, he will provide a wholesome content with full entertainment that has the possibility of reaching a wider section of the audience.
The superstar was quoted by the daily saying, “I’d rather want our banner to have films where people know they will have the naughtiness, humour, action and romance, but all of us can watch them together.” He added that even if there’s an ‘A’ certificate given to his film, it will always be because of the kind of action shown in it and not because of ‘kissing or nudity.’
The actor further said that he is aware he might be judged for his stance but that’s the kind of work he is comfortable doing. Salman said he doesn’t care how people look at his decision of not allowing intimacy under his association but he knows that’s the way for him.
On the work front, Salman is currently shooting for Dabangg 3 with Sonakshi Sinha and Kichcha Sudeep. The film is set to release in December this year. He also has Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat, starring Katrina Kaif, releasing this Eid.
