Salman Khan has always kept his stance clear on why he doesn’t like to kiss or perform an intimate scene on screen. The actor has often mentioned that he doesn’t want to work on any film which his family members can’t watch together. The actor is promoting Ayush Sharma and Warina Hussain’s Love Yatri these days. For the same, he has been interacting with the media. In one such interaction with The Times of India, Salman once again shined the light on why he doesn’t like to do films with intimate subjects.
Salman narrated the incident that happened within the family which led him to take this decision. He revealed that his family was watching an English film once and all the members starting looking here and there when a kiss scene appeared on the screen. That was the moment he realised that he will not do any film which makes his family feel uncomfortable. Salman said, “That’s why I feel, you don’t need such stuff in a film. You don’t need these gimmicks to make the film work”.

The actor added, “I’m not saying these gimmicks don’t work in favour of films, I’m just saying they’re not a necessity in cinema. In my first film, when Sooraj Barjatya was directing me, I remember I had to apply a balm on Bhagyashree’s feet and I did that while shutting my eyes. I don’t think sex or skin can sell a film. That’s not my way of making movies.”
On the work front, Salman is currently hosting one of the most popular reality TV shows in the country, Bigg Boss 12, on Colors TV. The actor is also busy with the shooting of his upcoming Bollywood film, Bharat, which also features Katrina Kaif.
