Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju hit theatres last Friday. The film directed by Rajkumar Hirani traces the ups and downs of Sanjay Dutt’s life and also spills beans about the actor’s personal life which not many of us were aware of. Fans cannot get over Ranbir Kapoor and his performance in the film and this is clearly visible in the film’s box office collection. The film crossed the iconic Rs 100 crore mark at the box office in the opening weekend and on day 6, the film earned Rs 18.90 crore and took the six-day collection of Sanju to Rs 186.41 crore.

While talking about the film’s box office collection, trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and wrote, “#Sanju is UNSTOPPABLE… Expected to cross ₹ 200 cr today [Thu]… Will be Ranbir’s first film in ₹ 200 cr Club… Fri 34.75 cr, Sat 38.60 cr, Sun 46.71 cr, Mon 25.35 cr, Tue 22.10 cr, Wed 18.90 cr. After the failure of Jagga Jasoos last year, Ranbir Kapoor desperately needed a hit and this film has finally brought the actor back with a bang. If we go by the current box office numbers of Ranbir’s latest offering, we are sure the film will enter the Rs 200 crore mark tomorrow which will be a new record. Will Sanju break the box office record of Hirani’s last release PK? Well, keep watching this place and we’ll be the first ones to tell you that!
