Sara Ali Khan who made her big Bollywood debut with Kedarnath where she was seen with Sushant Singh Rajput became one of Bollywood’s most loved newcomers not only because of her performance but also for her witty and cheerful personality. Post her debut film, she starred in Rohit Shetty’s Simmba which again did wonders at the Box Office. Latest reports suggest that the actor rejected Vicky Kaushal starrer Shaheed Udham Singh biopic and picked Love Aaj Kal 2 instead.
According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, Sara was approached for the biopic but she declined it since the role she was offered a creative role. Reportedly, the actor wants to do films which gives her more creative space to showcase her talent and since Shaheed Udham Singh biopic did not offer her the space she was looking for, she choose Love Aaj Kal 2. Another reason mentioned in the daily was that the dates of Shaheed Udham Singh biopic were clashing with Love Aaj Kal 2 which was why she refused to give the latter a nod.
Sara has started shooting for Love Aaj Kal 2 along with her co-star Kartik Aaryan. They are currently in Delhi and their pictures from the sets of the film are taking the internet by storm. A few days ago, a video of Sara and Kartik kissing on the sets of their film went viral on social media.
Sara had revealed in many interviews that she has a huge crush on Kartik and would love to work with him. Now that she is finally working with her ‘crush,’ one can call her a lucky woman.
A few days ago, Vicky revealed that he will be starring in Shaheed Udham Singh’s biopic and shared a picture with the director of the film Shoojit Sircar. He captioned the picture, “An absolute honour to be roped in to play Shaheed Udham Singh, in his biopic to be directed by @shoojitsircar sir… the man who was sitting right at the top of my wish list of Directors to work with. Can’t wait for this journey to start next month. Produced by Ronnie Lahiri”.
