Shah Rukh Khan threw a lavish birthday party at a popular Mumbai’s restaurant inviting all his close friends from the industry. However, Mumbai Police had to stop the party midway due to the loud music being played at the restaurant. SRK turned 53 yesterday, on November 2. The superstar, as he always does, received a lot of love from his fans both on social media and in person. The fans, who arrived in thousands, pooled outside SRK’s bungalow Mannat to wish him birthday and also to have a glimpse of their favourite actor. SRK also entertained his Bollywood family later in the evening.
According to reports, there are strict guidelines on not playing loud music during the wee hours in the city. SRK’s party went on till 3 am with thumping music being played at the restaurant. The eatery was shut for the general public at 1 am post which Shah Rukh and company entered the place to celebrate his birthday. Everything was fine until Mumbai Police intervened and asked the owners to shut the restaurant. It should be noted that restaurants are supposed to shut early on Friday night in the city. However, since this wasn’t the case with SRK’s party, police had to take a strict action. The report further adds that SRK left the place soon after the music was shut.

Swara Bhaskar, Nikhil Advani, Aanand L Rai, music directors Ajay-Atul and SRK’s family among others were the guests at the party. Shah Rukh earlier had an intimate birthday bash at his place in the day. Actor Aamir Khan even uploaded a picture with SRK clicked at Mannat to wish him birthday. The superstar himself posted a few pictures on the social media. One photo had his wife, Gauri Khan feeding a piece of cake to him while the other one had the ‘women in her family’ enjoying a fun game together. As is, we are sure it was a great birthday for Mr Khan!
