Actor Sidharth Malhotra says that he and his ex-girlfriend, actor Alia Bhatt, are on good terms post-breakup. The actor was present on a popular chat show where he was asked to comment on his equation with Alia after they called it quits. Sidharth said that there’s no hard feeling from any side and there’s a relationship that they share beyond the chemistry that they had.
Recently, there were rumours that Alia has vowed to break all ties with Sidharth and that’s the reason the duo will not be allegedly seen together in Student of The Year 2. Sidharth, however, maintained that everything is just fine between the two. He said they haven’t talked to each other post their breakup. Sidharth’s statement reads, “We haven’t met after it. Our relationship is civil… I don’t think it’s bitter. It’s been a while. I have known her for much longer even before we dated. I gave my first ever shot with her in SOTY so there is so much history.”
The Ek Villain actor also mentioned that after a relationship ends, one should focus on the happy moments spent together and the good memories that the person has. He said, “There is a reason why two people decide not to be together. There were lots of ups and downs. When you take yourself from a situation, you look at all the happy and good memories.”
Earlier, the speculations were rife in the grapevine that Sidharth and Alia never want to be seen together either off the screen or on screen. According to a report in SpotBoyE, Karan wants Alia and Sidharth to reunite in Student Of The Year 2. Talking about Varun Dhawan, a source told the daily, “Of course, Varun too. But Varun has no problems. Problem hai toh Alia ko. Varun has already given his nod to shoot. Alia is not in a comfort zone with Sidharth, anymore. After all, all exes cannot be friends.”
