Kalank hasn’t been able to generate the kind of response it was expected to at the Box Office. The film is struggling to perform and actor Sonakshi Sinha thinks that nothing of this is in her hands. Sonakshi plays the role of Satya Chaudhary in Kalank. She says that the Abhishek Varman-film has taught her a lot and she doesn’t regret doing any film irrespective of how it performed at the Box Office.

Sonakshi was quoted by news agency PTI saying that the Box Office performance and audience’s response to a film is something that’s not in her hands and therefore, she doesn’t like to stress over such things. The actor revealed that she always looks forward to doing her best in a film and then leave it to the audience to accept it or not. Sonakshi also mentioned that she will always cherish the experience she has had while working on her films.

The actor said that every film is important to her and she constantly keeps wishing for all the films to do well both critically and commercially. Sonakshi said, “Every film is important to me. I hope, wish and pray every film does well. It is bad luck that the last couple of films did not work out. But I don’t lose hope, I always look forward to doing my best.”

The actor’s last offering before Kalank, Happy Phir Bhag Jayegi, that released last year, also failed to perform at the Box Office. Sonakshi said that she doesn’t analyse a lot before taking up a film and her decisions are based on instinct. She said, “I pick up films very instinctively. The box office is not in my control, as an actor I have control over my performance and acting. I don’t stress over what is not in my control.”

The actor is currently working on Dabangg 3 with Salman Khan. The film is the third part in the popular cop franchise and Sonakshi will be seen playing the role of Chulbul Pandey’s wife, Rajjo.
