It has been a year since Indian cinema lost one of its most brilliant actors, but though she is gone, she is not forgotten. Sridevi had passed away on this day last year, and her passing had left a huge void not only among her family members but her friends, colleagues from the film industry and fans. A number of stars like Anil Kapoor, Shabana Azmi, Madhuri Dixit and others had taken to their social media pages to write an emotional post in remembrance of the superstar.

Her daughter Janhvi Kapoor too had penned a heartfelt message for her mother on her Instagram page, writing, “My heart will always be heavy. But I’ll always be smiling because it has you in it.”
