It appears Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s son Taimur Ali Khan is a favourite not only with the paparazzi but movie stars as well. The latest to fall under his spell, it seems, is Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu, who while interacting with the media during the promotion of her upcoming movie Badla, asked if she could take Taimur out on a date. Before you are stumped by that question, read on to find out why she asked it.
Taapsee is currently very busy where her work is concerned, with one project after another coming up and keeping her on her toes. So when at one of the promotional interviews she was asked if she was dating anyone or if she would like to date any of her co-stars, she giggled and said, “Hmmm… Bollywood? Can I take Taimur out on a date?”
Obviously she was just joking as she did not want to answer the question, but she did, however, reveal why she cannot date someone from the film industry.
“I will tell you from the point of view of a person who is acting right now. For me, these are my contemporaries, colleagues. That feeling of eyeing someone like that goes away when you are acting with them. Because you know that you’ll meet them often,” she explained.
Taapsee was last seen in movie Manmarziyaan, which was directed by Anurag Kashyap and written by Kanika Dhillon. The movie also starred Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal, and it was jointly produced by Phantom Films and Aanand L. Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions. It had been released on September 14, 2018 to positive reviews from critics.
Her upcoming movie Badla is being directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment in association with Azure Entertainment. It is an official adaptation of the 2017 Spanish movie Contratiempo The Invisible Guest, and it is slated to release on March 8, 2019.
Other movies that she has signed up for are Telegu film Game Over, directed by Ashwin Saravanan, and Hindi movie Mission Mangal, directed by Jagan Shakti and starring actors Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Nithya Menen, Sonakshi Sinha and many others. The other project that she has signed up for is Anurag Kashyap’s Saand Ki Aankh, which is based on the world’s oldest women sharpshooters, Chandro Tomar and her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar.
