Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Thugs Of Hindostan just got bigger. The film is going to be dubbed in both Tamil and Telugu languages for a wider audience experience. The YRF film, which also features Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif, is a fantasy drama, being made on an expensive budget. In fact, it has been touted as the costliest Bollywood film ever.
Earlier, Aamir Khan’s last release, Dangal, was dubbed in Telugu. Much like its Hindi version, the film did well at the Telugu Box Office as well.
Thugs Of Hindostan is a big Diwali release this year. In a press release shared by the film’s team a while back, it was mentioned that director Vijay Krishna Acharya aka Viktor had constructed a huge set in Malta, for a dream sequence in the film. For the same, two giant ships were created by the foreign technicians, who have worked on the sets of various popular international films.
An action-adventure, Thugs of Hindostan is reportedly being edited in a theatre. This is because Viktor doesn’t want to leave any loophole in giving his audience a true larger-than-life experience. It’s also getting an IMAX and a 3D release.
Earlier, after the leak of a few on-the-sets stills of Aamir and Mr Bachchan, the team decided to ban the cellphones on the shoot of TOH. Reportedly, Aamir was quite furious to have his look from the film revealed in a not-so-systematic manner.
Thugs of Hindostan is slated to hit the screens on November 9.
