Extending the Baaghi franchise, Tiger Shroff has confirmed the release of Baaghi 3 on his Twitter handle. Stirring frenzy among his fans, Tiger promises in his tweet to be back as ‘a baaghi‘ (rebel) on March 6, 2020. While the first film was directed by Sabbir Khan, Baaghi 2 was an Ahmed Khan directorial as will be Baaghi 3. The producers, Nadiadwala Grandsons, had put in an announcement for the third film even before the trailer of the second film was out, being confident of the franchise.

Sharing a poster of the film, which shows an artistic silhouette of the actor standing against the sun with a gun, Tiger tweeted, “And round 3 is on! #SajidNadiadwala’s #Baaghi3 will be out on 6th March 2020. This one’s for you Baaghians.”

Speculations are rife about who will be cast opposite Tiger in the third film. While Baaghi (2016), which was a modern adaptation of the great Indian epic Ramayana, had Shraddha Kapoor in the lead, Baaghi 2 (2018), which was an official remake of the Telugu movie Kshanam (2016), saw Tiger paired with girlfriend Disha Patani and now rumour has it that Sara Ali Khan might play the female lead in Baaghi 3.

Both the previous movies became box office successes with the second one becoming an unexpected blockbuster earning more than Rs160 crore in India itself. It landed Tiger in the list of bankable stars.

Tiger enjoys a huge fan base ever since his Bollywood debut with the movie Heropanti opposite Kriti Sanon. The actor has won the awe of his fans not just for his lean muscular body but also won over the audiences and critics hearts across the country for his distinguished acting and dancing skills.
