Ajay Devgn starrer Total Dhamaal is now nearing to garner Rs 150 crore at the Box Office. The comedy film, directed by Indra Kumar, has been appreciated by the masses. Its theatrical run is going to come to its end. However, it doesn’t seem difficult for the film to manage a total of Rs 150 crore before the next big film, Akshay Kumar‘s Kesari hit the screens on March 21. Total Dhamaal has collected Rs 145.71 crore after the third Thursday. The notable earnings of the film are listed here:

Week 1: Rs 94.55 crore
Week 2: Rs 38.05 crore
Week 3: Rs 13.11 crore

The film, which is the third film in the popular Dhamaal franchise, has emerged as a hit at the Box Office. It went on to cross the benchmark of Rs 100 crore on day 9 while earned Rs 125 crore on day 12.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the latest Box Office figures on Twitter and wrote, “#TotalDhamaal is slow and steady… Mass circuits continue to add to the handsome total… Should continue to collect till #Kesari arrives… [Week 3] Fri 1.70 cr, Sat 2.76 cr, Sun 3.95 cr, Mon 1.40 cr, Tue 1.15 cr, Wed 1.10 cr, Thu 1.05 cr. Total: ₹ 145.71 cr. India biz.” (sic)

It’s the second film for director Indra Kumar to have entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club. While talking about the film not receiving good critic reviews, the director talked to Times Now and said, “Reviewers have to understand the audience’s pulse first. They don’t know anything about the audience, they are sitting in their ac offices and talking. But, it’s okay, I don’t want to comment on anything and as I told you, I don’t care.” He also revealed why he chose to make Total Dhamaal as a travel film unlike the second part of the franchise. Indra said, “I thought that part one (Dhamaal) was better than part 2 (Double Dhamaal). So, I thought let me do it (Total Dhamaal) the part one way. With travelling (in a film) you can do many things. You have an open field, you know. You can have more people, more fun, more item. So, that gives you more leverage.”
