Actor Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike has reached Rs 226.05 crore at the Box Office. The film has maintained its steady pace despite the release of Gully Boy, which has a tremendous buzz around it. The Aditya Dhar-directorial managed to garner Rs 6.92 crore so far in its week six. Crossing the benchmark of Rs 225 cr at the Box Office is a big feat for a medium-budget Hindi film considering it released on January 11, 38 days back.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the breakup of the Box Office collection of this all-time blockbuster film. He wrote, “#UriTheSurgicalStrike continues to win hearts… Crosses ₹ 225 cr… Stays super-strong, despite #GullyBoy juggernaut at metros + reduced showcasing at plexes… [Week 6] Fri 1.20 cr, Sat 2.51 cr, Sun 3.21 cr. Total: ₹ 226.04 cr. India biz.” (sic)

Here’s how the film has performed in:

Week 1: Rs 71.26 cr
Week 2: Rs 62.77 cr
Week 3: Rs 37.02 cr
Week 4: Rs 29.34 cr
Week 5: Rs 18.74 cr
Weekend 6: Rs 6.92 cr
Total: Rs 226.05 cr

The film has been appreciated for its content both by the audience and the critics alike. While Uri has shown an undeterred performance at the Box Office, the latest film at the ticket window, Gully Boy too, is raking in a good moolah.

The Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt film has managed to collect Rs 72.45 crore in its extended weekend, starting from Thursday, February 14. The collection breakup of this Zoya Akhtar-directorial is as follows:

Thursday: Rs 19.40 cr
Friday: Rs 13.10 cr
Saturday: Rs 18.65 cr
Sunday: Rs 21.30 cr
Total: Rs 72.45 cr

While the moviegoers are expressing their love for good content on the screen, the entire film industry is currently mourning the death of 40 martyrs who got killed in the ghastly Pulwama attack on Feb 14, Thursday. AICWA (All India Cine Artist Association) has banned Pakistani artistes from working in the film industry and a strict instruction has been given to filmmakers and others to not employee any artiste from Pakistan.
