One of Bollywood’s most versatile actor Alia Bhatt has many projects lined up for the year. She recently signed SS Rajamouli’s next big project RRR with Ajay Devgn. Recently at an award show, her Kalank co-star Varun Dhawan pulled her leg and told Alia now that she has so many projects, she will not work with him anymore.

Alia has many projects in her kitty. She will soon be seen in Kalank, apart from that she has Brahmastra and Takht. Recently, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali announced his next film Inshallah which will star Salman Khan and Alia. She will also be making her Telugu debut with RRR. At the award show, Varun targetted his friend Alia and said, “Inshallah, mashallah now that you are collaborating with big directors and actors, you won’t work with me!” Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor had a good laugh at this and Varun reacted by saying, “After a couple of years, she won’t be working with either of you, too!”.

Earlier, Alia shared about being roped in for Bhansali’s next project and shared a post on Twitter. She wrote, “I was 9 when I first walked into Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s office, all nervous and hoping and praying that I would be in his next film. It’s been a long wait.”.

Varun and Alia made their Bollywood debut together with Karan Johar’s Student of the Year (2012). Post that they were seen in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014) and Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017). They will next be seen in Kalank which also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit Nene, and Sanjay Dutt. Set in 1940, this period drama will hit theatres on April 17.

Alia is currently busking on the success of her last release Gully Boy which also features Ranveer Singh and Siddhant Chaturvedi. She will next be seen in Kalank which is a period drama set in the 1940s. She will also be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra with her rumoured boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and historical drama Takht.
