Tamil film superstar Vishal Krishna who is celebrating the success of his cyber thriller Irumbu Thirai has recently bought the rights of the Telegu film Temper directed by Puri Jagannath. His reason for wanting to make a remake of this Telegu film in Tamil is because of the theme of child rape that it deals with. “I wanted to remake Temper into Tamil as it deals with the theme of child rape. I feel it’s very important for actors to use their audiences’ support to raise issues through and beyond entertainment,” said Vishal.

This Tamil film will be directed by director PS Mithran and says that the film will have a lot of changes in the transition. “We are looking at an entirely different interpretation of the story. Our Tamil version of Temper would be completely different from the original,” he said. This particular film will also be made in Hindi as Simmba where actor Ranveer Singh will be playing the cop. The film is being directed by Rohit Shetty and will be produced by Karan Johar. Sara Ali Khan will be seen opposite Singh in the film. While the cast of the Simmba has been revealed, the cast of Vishal’s film is still yet to be known.
Ranveer compliments director Rohit Shetty and shared his excitement on his upcoming film by saying, “Sangram Bhale Rao aka Simmba. He is a cop in the film. I am really very excited about collaborating with Rohit Shetty, more than anyone else. He is the king of masala films, which are loved more than any other films. So this is something I believe I was born to do and I am looking forward to it.”
