Popular Telugu actor and comedian Ali Basha has joined the cast of Dabangg 3 with Salman Khan. The actor will reportedly be seen playing the character of Chulbul Pandey’s right hand. Dabangg 3 went on the floors earlier this month and now Maheshwar schedule of the film has been completed. Ali Basha’s entry into the cast sure makes for interesting news considering he is known as one of the most celebrated comedians in the South Indian film industry. This also promises that along with a lot of swag, Dabangg 3 is also going to show enough laughter on-screen.

In a picture that’s going viral on social media currently, Ali Basha and his family are seen posing with Salman on the sets of the Prabhudeva directorial. The photo has the superstar flaunting his smile while putting his one arm on the youngest person present in the frame. Here’s the picture:

Interestingly, Ali played the character of Samba in the Telugu remake of Dabangg. The film had Pawan Kalyan playing the lead role of Gabbar. Dabangg 2 also features another popular South Indian face. Actor Kichcha Sudeep, known for his stunning on-screen appearance in the Malayalam film industry, will be seen playing the character of the main antagonist in the third part of the cop franchise.

Sonakshi Sinha and Arbaaz Khan also play important roles in Dabangg 3. Recently, when Arbaaz was asked why he decided to not direct the Dabangg film this time, he revealed Prabhudeva was a better choice. In his latest interview with a daily, Arbaaz mentioned that directing Dabangg 3 along with acting in it would have been too much for him at once. He also stressed that the Dabangg film this time needed a fresh perspective since the settings and the backdrop are largely going to be the same. The team is eyeing a December release for the film.
