Actress Alia Bhatt has said that her upcoming fantasy-adventure trilogy Brahamastra will be a step ahead in terms of film-making, and will take Indian cinema to another level. The movie has been written and directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Karan Johar, and it will also star Amitabh Bachchan, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Ranbir Kapoor and Mouni Roy.
The cast of Brahmastra including Amitabh Bachchan, Alia and producer Karan Johar, have been posting pictures of the film’s shooting in progress on social media, with Alia revealing that they are all excited for the movie.
“We all are very excited for the film…I think ‘Brahmastra’ is a step ahead. It will take cinema to another level so, I am very excited for the next year,” Alia told the media at the preview of East Greets West – A Conversation Through Calligraphy on Tuesday.
Karan Johar had announced the film via Twitter on October 11, 2017 revealing that it would also be made into a three-part trilogy.
The cast and crew also posted some tweets and pictures on social media as the making of the movie progressed.
Preparation for the film started in January 2018, with the principal photography beginning in February 2018. The movie has been shot in numerous locations abroad, and it is expected to be out sometime in August next year.
