After the first poster of Carbon was out yesterday with Jackky Bhagnani looking like a man on a mission carrying a mask in his hand, the second poster of the movie is out today and this time it has Nawazuddin Siddiqui on it. The actor is seen looking outside from, what we believe, is a space shuttle. Apparently, the actor will be seen playing the role of a person from Mars and we are already excited to watch the movie.

Carbon is a science fiction set in 2067, and stars Jackky Bhagnani, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Prachi Desai and Yashpal Sharma in pivotal roles. Given that Climate Change is a major environmental issue at the moment, the film will be exploring Global warming as an issue and the after effects of the hazard that people will have to face in the future should the issue not be dealt with today. The posters have certainly piqued our interest in the movie which has taken up a topic that’s not been tried out in the past by Bollywood. We have had celebs come forward and talk about it openly but never has a movie been made on it. It would now be interesting to see the way in which the issue has been dealt with in the short film.

Meanwhile, on the work front, this seems to be Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s year as the actor is/has been part of several projects in 2017. While his movie Munna Michael released just a few days ago, his next film, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz is set to release on August 25. Also, this won’t be the only short film, Nawazuddin has worked on till date. He was earlier seen in the short film Elephant Boy. Additionally, he will be seen in the sci-fi movie Chanda Mama Door Ke starring alongside Sushant Singh Rajput and R Madhavan that’s all set to release in January next year.

Carbon will be released on Large Short Films’ YouTube channel. The date is yet to be announced.
