Baahubali 2 has crossed all the box office records of the Indian Cinema. Fans are just not able to stop praising Prabhas aka Baahubali and the director of the magnum opus, SS Rajamouli. Of course, it is just once in a while, fans get such an amazing cinematic experience. But do you know who else is making rounds to watch the flick? It’s the Censor Board! Well, before you get tensed, let us tell you that this time Censor Board is not keeping a check on the film, but the ads shown with it. Confused? Here’s the elaboration! Now we all know that Baahubali 2 is receiving a tremendous response. Naturally the product peddlers would want their ads to be tagged along with it. So CBFC has taken it up on itself to keep check o these.

Explaining the whole scenario, CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani,said, ” In the days preceding the release of Baahubali 2, we’ve received requests to certify close to 90-100 ads to be screened with the film. We’ve never in the history of the CBFC’s existence received so many ads for screening with a feature film. Each one of the ads had to be viewed by all the members of the Censor Board and certified,” as per DNA reports. Now, what is bothering CBFC is the fear of uncensored ads sneaking into the theaters without the proper cuts. Nihalani added, “Some enterprising product-peddlers may think they can slip their ads in without censor certification into theatres showing Baahubali 2. Meanwhile, Baahubali 2 earned whopping Rs 121 crore on day 1. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, ” #Baahubali2 Fri ₹ 121 cr NETT. India biz.
