Megastar Chiranjeevi, born on August 22, 1955, turned 60 this year. The Telugu superstar, known as Megastar among fans, celebrated his 60th birthday with a big bash at the Shilpkala Vedika auditorium in Hyderabad. The party was attended by his celebrity friends and fans. Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan had also been invited for the birthday celebrations, but it seems they did not turn up. (There might be another party, we are told.) But there was something more for the fans of Chiranjeevi to talk about. On the occasion, the actor-politician launched the teaser of #RC9, his son Ram Charan’s latest movie.
Fans of both stars went berserk seeing the teaser, where Ram Charan is seen in a dashing, modern avatar in an all action film. The first look posters of #RC9 were released first, showing Ram Charan with a Bruce Lee tattoo on his right arm. The movie had a working title of Merupu or Bruce Lee earlier.
Ram Charan shared the link of the teaser on social media, saying, “Here it is.. The first teaser of #RC9. Launched by the one and only #Megastar! #RC9Teaser”. The movie is directed by Srinu Vaitla. (ALSO SEE: Salman Khan dances at Chiranjeevi birthday bash to Selfie Le Le Re and Daddy Mummy song!)
