On the night that Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 – this time hosted by Arjun Kapoor – had its premiere on television (January 30, 2016), we also saw the Bollywood actor appear on Comedy Nights Bachao on Colors. The show aired immediately after Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 and it was kind of in a loop that we saw Arjun and some of the contestants of KKK 7 on Comedy Nights Bachao. But guess what, we didn’t mind the spill over effect, as Arjun and his girls Tanisha Mukherjee, Aishwarya Sakhuja, Sana Saeed and Mahhi Vij were really cool about being made fun of!

Comedy Nights Bachao hosts Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh along with their team made sure to make us laugh at each cracker of a joke made on Arjun (with hints of his well known bromance with actor Ranveer Singh every now and then), Tanisha Mukherjee, Aishwarya Sakhuja, Sana Saeed and Mahhi Vij. This was the second time that Arjun was ‘roasted’ – the first being on India’s first ever Roast, the controversial All India Bakchod (AIB) Knockout. Arjun was roasted along with Ranveer Singh on the AIB that had to be removed from YouTube for being too offensive and vulgar. Arjun was a real sport on Comedy Nights Bachao, and participated with full heart in his acts with Bharti and Krushna Abhishek. We think the Comedy Nights Bachao episode was more fun than the first episode of Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 itself! It was super entertaining!

But then, the two shows belong to separate genres and can’t really be compared. On KKK 7, Arjun was a cooler host than most of the earlier ones like Priyanka Chopra, Rohit Shetty and Akshay Kumar. Read our review of Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 Episode 1 here!

This episode of Comedy Nights Bachao was fun, but the same it seems cannot be said about Krushna Abhishek’s Comedy Nights Live that went on air on January 31, 2016. Comedy Nights Live replaced Comedy Nights with Kapil, the popular show of stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma that was closed due to issues he had with the channel Colors.

Comedy Nights Live also did not spare Kapil Sharma and made fun of him and his show’s format where he often insulted his onscreen wife (Sumona Chakraborty) and grandmother (Dadi played by Ali Asgar).
