Commando 2 releasing today stars Vidyut Jamwal in the lead role and also has Adah Sharma, Freddy Daruwala, Thakur Anoop Singh, Esha Gupta, Adil Hussain, Suhail Nayya. It is a sequel to the very successful Commando. Vidyut returns to impress us with his hot AF body and action scenes. Will he be successful in doing so? Well, our reviewer Vinod Talreja is watching the movie right now as we speak and he has an update on how the first half has panned out! Read to know.
It won’t be wrong to say that Vidyut Jammwal is strikingly good at hand-to-hand combat. His ripped torso and arms have a life of its own, but that vibrancy doesn’t seem to reflect in the story or in the way the characters are chalked out in Commando 2 yet. Jammwal has returned as Captain Karanvir Singh, saviour of the poor, in the second instalment from the Commando series. He is in charge of bringing in the leader of an international money laundering ring from Malaysia to India. That forms the basic plot of the this Deven Bhojani directorial for now. Apart from Vidyut, there is Adah Sharma, who plays a cop, with a heavy accent, which gets irritating after a few minutes. And add to this her clownish demeanour. Esha Gupta too stars in this film, but there is nothing important she has done in the film till now, except for a lip lock with Vidyut (if it’s considered as important that is). While it’s delightful to see Jammwal use his body strength to demolish his enemies till now, it’s the cheesy dialogues that might just bring this film down.
