Here’s a good news for all Salman Khan‘s fans as it’s now confirmed that Prabhu Dheva will helm the third installment of the Dabangg franchise. Actor-producer Arbaaz Khan confirmed the news that the choreographer and Wanted (2009) director will helm the third film in the franchise. In a statement to Deccan Chronicle, actor-producer Arbaaz Khan said, “Prabhu Dheva is directing Dabangg 3. We did meet last week, but all three of us (Khan brothers) are busy with our own careers. Salman is shooting for Race 3 and will have two films around the same time. We are likely to start shooting in April 2018, and need some time to work on the script, as well as the pre-production of the project.”
The film will go on floors in early next year. Sonakshi Sinha while talking to The Times of India, was quoted as saying, “The shoot begins probably early next year. They are currently scripting. The first part, which was released in 2010, was helmed by Abhinav Kashyap, who was then picked to helm the sequel, two years later. But due to some creative differences with Arbaaz, Arbaaz himself directed Dabangg 2. Buzz was that the Khan brothers approached a couple of directors for Dabangg 3, finally, they have found one and the third film in the franchise will now be helmed by Prabhu Dheva.
