Salman Khan is one of the busiest actor in Bollywood right now! Currently, he is in New Delhi, all set to take the city by storm when he gets on the stage tonight as part of the Dabangg Delhi Tour. He is scheduled to be at events and interviews back to back the next few days to promote his Christmas 2017 release, Tiger Zinda Hai. Next, he has a schedule of Race 3 waiting for him. Tiger is also set to star in Alvira Agnihotri’s film and has Kick 2 up his sleeve as well. Amid a full slate like this, when will he start filming for the Dabangg sequel?

The film made him a bigger superstar, by endearing him to the audience with his Chulbul Pandey character. Fans are waiting to see him get into the cop avatar yet again. But there have been reports that the project is currently put on the back burner. So when the Dabangg’s Pandeyji and Rajjo – Salman and Sonakshi Sinha – came together on the same stage, questions about Dabangg 3 were inevitable. Here’s all that Salman revealed about the film:

First and most importantly – Salman confirmed that Dabangg 3 is very much in the pipeline and there are no plans to put it on hold.

He also said that he has recently heard the narration and given it his go ahead. Sonakshi Sinha will return as Rajjo and there will also be Makhanchand Pandey in the film.

About the story, he revealed that the film will be a total entertainer, with fun, heroism, drama and emotions and will be bigger than the previous two Dabanggs.

The first Dabangg was directed by Abhinav Kashyap and second by Arbaaz Khan and now Dabangg 3 will be directed by Wanted director Prabhu Deva.

The crew will start shooting for the third part from March 2018.

So now that we have heard all that we need to know about Dabangg 3 from the lead superstar himself, guess there is no room left for any doubts of speculations. And now, while there’s still time for Dabangg 3 to hit screens, let’s start our countdown towards December 22, when Tiger Zinda Hai meets us in theatres.
