The makers of Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet and Tabu’s film De De Pyaar De have advanced the release of the film. Film and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the news on Twitter and revealed that the film will release earlier.
He revealed that the makers have decided to hold paid previews on Thursday (May 16). He wrote, “Update: #DeDePyaarDe to release earlier… Makers decide to hold paid previews on Thursday evening [16 May 2019]. Advance booking for Thursday previews has commenced already”.
Apart from Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet, the film also stars, Alok Nath, Javed Jaaferi and Jimmy Shergill in pivotal roles. A lot of controversies have been surrounding the film for featuring rape accused Alok Nath.
Helmed by Akiv Ali, the film revolves around 50-year-old Ashish (played by Ajay), a divorcee who falls for 26-year-old Ayesha, the character played by Rakul. In the film, Tabu plays Ajay’s ex-wife.
Ajay will also be starring in a film directed by Luv. The film will also feature Ranbir Kapoor in the lead. It is said to be an action-drama being made on a big scale. Reports have been doing the rounds that Deepika Padukone will be paired with Ranbir in the film.
Ajay will next be seen in Bhuj: The Pride of India as Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, who was in charge of the Bhuj airbase during the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War. The film also features Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, and Parineeti Chopra. Ajay will also be seen in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior where he will be playing the role of Maratha warrior Tanaji Malusare. It is one of the most ambitious projects of his life and will be playing the titular character. Other films in his kitty are SS Rajamouli’s RRR, Neeraj Pandey’s Chanakya and a biopic on football coach Syed Abdul Rahim.
