There have not been that many pictures from actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding, which took place on November 14 and 15. Both have not shared much except for two pictures each from their wedding ceremonies. On the first day, the traditional Konkani ceremony was held, and it was followed by the Sindhi ceremony on the second day. On both days the bride and groom were beautifully attired in traditional Indian clothes.

According to Pinkvilla, for the Sindhi wedding, known as Anand Karaj, a Sikh marriage ceremony, Deepika was dressed in red as was Ranveer, and what stood out the most was her veil, which had a shloka written on it in Hindi and in gold. The veil had ‘Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava’ written on it, and it is believed to have been a gift from Ranveer’s family to Deepika.

For the Sindhi wedding, a makeshift Gurudwara was created at the Villa Del Balbianello in Italy, and a priest was flown from Amritsar for the ceremony. From pictures the two shared, their happiness is pretty much evident as they both smiled and joked with one another.

Deepika and Ranveer are believed to have chosen November 15 as their wedding date because it is the day that their first movie together was released. The two have starred together in other movies as well, foremost being, Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, which was released in 2013.

The lovebirds are expected to return to India by November 18, and to host a reception for their family and friends in Bengaluru on November 21, and later on in Mumbai.
