After Dance India Dance North America 2013 and Dance India Dance Little Masters North America 2014, Zee TV Americas is going forward with another one of its DID franchises – DID Super Moms North America 2014. The new reality show aims to give a platform to mothers who at some point in their lives sacrificed their dancing dreams for marriage and motherhood. What’s more, Miss America Nina Davuluri will judge and crown the top 12 winners of the contest. Accompanying her as judge will be Rupal Patel, Founder, International Arya Dance Academy. The two will judge DID contestants and select the top 12 finalists who will go on to compete for the DID Super Moms North America title.
Miss America Nina Davuluri said in a statement, “Growing up watching Zee TV, I’m so excited to be a judge on Dance India Dance! I can’t wait to meet all the amazing Super Moms and see them showcase their talents and live out their dreams – that’s what this is all about! I’m also thrilled to be returning to India this December for the first time since winning the title of Miss America 2014. It’s going to be a brilliant homecoming!”
DID Super Moms North America wants to give hope to millions of mothers across North America who aspire to make a name for themselves in the field of dance. Until now, more than 20,000 participants from North America have submitted their audition videos, and only 65 of these have been selected to participate in the Mega Auditions round to be held in New York on November 10 2014.
All the best to these Super Moms for the dance battle on Dance India Dance! (ALSO READ: Miss America 2015: Kira Kazantsev, Miss New York, crowned Miss America)
