Starring John Abraham, Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles, Dishoom is all set to release this Friday. From what it looks like, Dishoom is a complete entertainer! John and Varun share a wonderful rapport and if the trailer is anything to go by, the trailer looks promising. Does the movie live up to the expectations, though? Let’s find that out!
The story starts with a cricketer named Viraj Sharma (Saqib Saleem) who goes missing just 48 hours before the Final India vs Pakistan match in the Middle East. Kabir Shergill (John) has been sent from India on a mission to find Viraj. Now Kabir finds Junaid (Varun), who is a cop too, who he thinks will help him in locating the kidnapped Indian cricketer. If previous records (Garam Masala, Desi Boyz, Dhoom) are taken into consideration, two-hero films have worked in favor of John and this time too, it is the same. John and Varun pack a powerful punch in Dishoom. More than cop buddies, they are more the Ram Lakhan jodi! John plays a typical sadoo cop and Varun is like his chota bhai who is funny but also sharp-witted. Varun’s comic timing is just perfect and he looks too cute throughout the film.
Who would have ever though that John and Varun would have such a good rapport? They share a wonderful camaraderie and we think we would love to see them together onscreen more often!
Jacqueline Fernandez doesn’t have a lot to do in the film. She plays a thief in the movie who helps these cops in their mission to find out Viraj.
Akshay Kumar left us surprised when his first look from the film released and with his role too, he has left us simply ASTONISHED!!! We won’t tell you more about his character in the film. Rather go watch the movie and find it out yourself! ALSO READ: Akshay Kumar’s new avatar in Dishoom will leave you surprised!
Akshaye Khanna plays a bookie (Wagah) in the movie who kidnaps Viraj. He is seen in a negative role in the movie and he does complete justice to it.
The film has only one song throughout its runtime and that is Sau Tarah Ke, which is indeed the most popular track from the music album. If you are a fan of Janemann Aah starring Parineeti Chopra, then you will have to wait till the very end as the song comes in the final credits. In conclusion, Dishoom is a total paisa vasool film. Throughout the film, you are sure to not get bored and you will have a good laugh! Varun and John’s bromance is the main highlight of the film. Dishoom is a perfect treat to watch this weekend!
