Celebrities getting into an argument with airline officials have become a common sight. Yesterday we saw Bollywood singer Aditya Narayan lost his temper on a ground staff of Indigo Airlines. He went to an extent of abusing the staff and threatening to strip him in public. The actor was caught on camera for abusing an Indigo staff at Raipur airport and the video went viral. Today, we see another celebrity is irked with an airline. While Aditya’s choice of words gave him negative popularity, television actress Divyanka Tripathi vents out her frustration on her social media handle.
The actress, who is best known for her character Ishita on Star Plus’ Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, took to Twitter to tell Jet Airways how their delay cost her dearly. Divyanka had to report on the sets of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein but the delays irked her so much that she decided to tweet about it. The actress posted a series of tweets and wrote, “@JetAirways 100people waiting on set.Stranded w/o makeup, have to resume work and yr staff looks casual! Expected prompt action.Respect lost!”
The actress received a response from the airlines saying, “Hi Divyanka, We’ve shared this with our team and they will get in touch with you soon.” To which Divyanka tweeted that action should be taken immediately and one must value passenger’s time irrespective of their celebrity status. She wrote, “I wish this was done irrespective of passenger’s social status. Must respect time. We all have a life far more important post deboarding. https://twitter.com/jetairways/status/914370423860510720 …” Earlier, we had seen that Tinaa Dattaa and Niti Taylor had complained about the casual attitude of airline officials. This time it was Divyanka, who was irked with the tardy attitude of the airlines.
Divyanka and husband Vivek Dahiya were touring across cities for the Navratri celebrations. The two attended a Navratri event in Indore. The two grooved to Udi Udi song from Shah Rukh Khan’s film Raees. At the event, Vivek was asked to croon a few lines for his beloved wife.
