After Tanushree Dutta and Nana Patekar’s controversy, another horrifying incident came into light as the female producer of 90s hit TV show, Tara, shared a lengthy post stating that she was harassed by the leading man of the show, Alok Nath. She revealed that she was ‘raped and brutalised’ by the person who is now known as the ‘sanskaari’ man in the film industry. Do you know, in 1994, Navneet Nishan, who romanced the actor onscreen, sued him for allegedly calling her a drug user in an interview?
During that time, while speaking to a magazine, Alok Nath revealed that Navneet was a drug user. This didn’t go down well with the latter who sued him. Not only this, but she reportedly got involved in a spat with Alok’s wife, Ashu Nath who was the costume coordinator on the show.
Navneet refused to work with Alok on the show and also rubbished his claims. She said, “It’s taken me 8 years to get where I am and I don’t want some alcoholic fool to mess it up for me.”
The producer, in her post, stated that the actor also came drunk on the sets and touched the actress inappropriately after he learned that he will be asked to leave the show.
She also narrated an incident when she went for the party to the actor’s place and felt her drinks were mixed. She added that she was dropped by the actor at her place and when she woke up, she was in pain.

She mentioned that she kept her story of harassment and rape to herself for 19 long years.
Lately, Kangana Ranaut and her Queen co-star Nayani Dixit have accused filmmaker Vikas Bahl of behaving inappropriately on the sets of the film.
