The famous South actor Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming project with Amal Neerad project is one of the most anticipated Malayalam movies of 2017. His fans will get to see him in their favourite look of his- the actor vrooming on his bike in full style. As soon as the movie was announced, his fans were eagerly waiting for it. The shooting stills from the movie had sent fans and movie buffs in a frenzy. And now the wait for the movie’s title is finally over. The makers have announced the movie’s title and it is called Comrade in America (CIA).
The film’s tagline goes as ‘Some Heroes are Real’. This film will have him essaying the character of Aji John , from Kottayam. The star took to social media on Thursday and wrote, “And finally at long last here is the first look poster and title for my first full length Amal Neerad film! Thank you Amal Etta for the opportunity and for letting me be a part of something so ambitious and grand! Hope you all love everything about the film”.
Dulquer Salmaan will be seeing portraying the role of Pala-based youngster Aji John. The film will mark the debut of newcomer Karthika Muralidharan, the daughter of cinematographer C.K. Muralidharan, who will be playing the female lead in the film. Other actors like Soubin Shahir, Jinu Joseph, John Vijay, among others will appear in the supporting roles. The film’s cinematography will be handled by Ranadive and the songs and background score will be composed by Gopi Sundar. And if reports are to be believed, then Dulquer Salmaan is doing a Tamil-Malayalam bilingual movie titled ‘Solo’, with Bejoy Nambiar. According to a leading daily, Bejoy is very happy with Dulquer and may even cast him for a Bollywood movie. A source close to Bejoy said, “Bejoy is very happy with Dulquer’s work and he is willing to work with him again. He has been writing something for a Bollywood production, which he would like to make with Dulquer in the lead. However, right now it’s too early to make any announcement.”
Nambiar told the daily, “We are starting the second schedule for the film and it’s been an amazing experience working with Dulquer so far. I would love to work with him in every language and I am pretty sure even Bollywood will come searching for him soon enough. Right now, I am only focusing on this film so let’s see.”
