If India has Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, Pakistan has Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan. They are perhaps one of the most talked about on screen couples in the neighbouring country. Their chemistry is unmissable and will make you want to watch them on loop. The two shot to instant popularity with their chemistry in the famous Pakistani series, Humsafar and are busy gearing up for the Pakistani movie, Maula Jatt 2. The film was to release in December last year but got pushed to a later date for an undisclosed reason.

Anyway, the two stars had a mini reunion along with another Pakistani actor, Hamza Abbasi. Ever since the pic was posted on social media, it has gone viral, courtesy the fan clubs who can’t get over the two of them and aspire to see them share screen space soon. Take a look at the pic below.

In the meantime, Mahira lately disclosed that her grandmom doesn’t mind her telling ‘I love you’ to Fawad Khan. Well, we totally love her grandmom and couldn’t agree more right? During a recent red carpet awards’ function, Mahira was asked to reveal three things that fans don’t know about her, to which she replied that she would be taking a short break and working far less this year. Mahira was quoted as saying, “I think they know everything. (laughs) They should know that I’m going to be taking a break. I want to work a little bit less. They already hate me for that but, this year I’m going to be working a bit less.” When asked about working with Fawad in Maula Jatt 2, with whom she is reuniting on screen after almost six years, she said, “Yes, I am super thrilled about Maula Jatt, which is a Punjabi film and I unite with Fawad Khan after Humsafar. We are expected to create the same magic like Humsafar, but the two projects – Maula Jatt and Humsafar are totally different.”
