The Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations have begun today. Which also means that Bollywood has geared up to welcome Bappa with all glitz and glamour.

The happy pictures of Shilpa Shetty dancing crazily while bringing Bappa home went viral recently. Now, Salman Khan’s sister, Arpita Khan Sharma, has also brought Ganpati home and the photos show genuine happiness.

In the fresh pictures, Arpita can be seen dressed up in a traditional Indian outfit, holding the diety. Her sister, Alvira, can also be spotted carrying the Puja thali.

The Khan family brings Ganpati home amid great fervour every year. However, this year, the presence of Salman Khan in the pictures is surely missed. It is for the second time in 14 years that the Khan family is not celebrating Ganesh Utsav at their place, Galaxy Apartment but at Arpita’s residence.

Salman is currently occupied with the work of his upcoming film, Bharat, alongside Katrina Kaif. The movie, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, is all set to hit the screens on Eid 2018. He will also be seen hosting colors TV reality show, Bigg Boss 12. The premiere episode of the show will be aired on September 16.

Arpita’s husband, Aayush Sharma, is also busy these days. He is gearing up for his Bollywood debut, Loveratri, alongside Warina Hussain. The movie is set to hit the screens on October 5.
