Akshay Kumar, who is known for his disciplined and composed nature, has become a different self ever since he came back from his holiday. Akshay on Wednesday left Twitter puzzled with his cryptic message which looks a drunk text more than anything. He wrote, “Excuse my typossss kyusjiii mujhkkkko.”
While we wondered if the khiladi of Bollywood was actually drunk-typing, the 50-year-old actor cleared up our confusion by sharing the motion poster of Chad Gayi Hai from the film Gold, which releases tomorrow.
Akshay Kumar took to his Twitter account and captioned, “Kya dekh rahe ho? #ChadGayiHai kya? Song out tomorrow.@excelmovies @ritesh_sid @FarOutAkhtar @kagtireema @SachinJigarLive @ZeeMusicCompany”. Knowing how particular Akshay is about posting stuff on social media be it pictures, videos or messages, this is definitely a first coming from someone like him.
Gold is directed by Reema Kagti. The film tells the story of Independent India’s first Olympic gold medal win as a free nation. The film also stars Mouni Roy, Vineet Kumar Singh, Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh, Sunny Kaushal and Nikita Dutta. The film begins in 1936 and traces 12 crucial years in the transformation of India from a British dominion to a free state.
Take a look at the motion poster:
Inspired by true events, Gold features Akshay Kumar as the coach of the Indian Hockey Team still playing under the British Raj. He longs for playing for a free India, a dream shared by the team members. They want to break free and sing the National Anthem of India once they win a game and not the British National Anthem. But victory will not come easy.
After Gold, Akshay Kumar will be seen as the menacing antagonist up against Rajinikanth in Shankar’s 2.0. The sci-fi epic film has locked its release date as November 29, 2018.
