As expected, Avengers: Endgame is storming the Box Office and has already created a record that seems unchallenged for a long time by any film. The superhero film has garnered a whopping Rs 104.50 crore at the Box Office in two days. This is absolutely marvelous considering no Hindi film has managed to cross Rs 100 crore in two days at the Box Office. Before Avengers: Endgame, only Baahubali: The Conclusion went on to achieve a figure beyond Rs 100 crore in two days but it was not a Hindi film.

Avengers: Endgame collections are humongous and prove that the audience is willing to spend more if there’s a film that appeals to them emotionally and has got a legacy behind. The film’s achievement is important because Avengers: Endgame has been released on half the number of screens as compared to any big Hindi film. The significant film from the Marvel superhero universe got 2845 screens as compared to 4000+ screens that a big Hindi film gets for its wide release in the country.

The film opened to a fantastic collection of Rs 53.10 crore and collected Rs 51.40 crore on its first Saturday in India. If this is the pace it maintains at the Box Office, the first weekend figures of Avengers: Endgame are going to be beyond Rs 150 crore.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh revealed the latest Box Office figures of Avengers: Endgame on Twitter. He wrote, “#AvengersEndgame is rewriting record books… Puts up a HISTORIC total on Day 2… Eyes ₹ 150 cr+ weekend… No biggie from *Hindi* film industry has achieved the target so far… Fri 53.10 cr, Sat 51.40 cr. Total: ₹ 104.50 cr Nett BOC. India biz. Gross BOC: ₹ 124.40 cr,” adding, “#AvengersEndgame crosses ₹ 💯 cr in *2 days*… #Baahubali2 [#Hindi] crossed ₹ 💯 in *3 days* and so did the biggies from the *Hindi* film industry… #AvengersEndgame is all set to have the highest ever opening weekend… Boxoffice is on 🔥🔥🔥.”

Interestingly, Baahubali 2 made the same kind of record two years back at the exact time in the year when it went on to set the Box Office on fire. The film’s collection was considered unchallenged two years back. However, Avengers: Endgame just changed everything and is on its way to having every record that exists at the ticket window.

Whatever it takes!
