Avengers: Endgame has earned a record collection of Rs 50 crore in its second weekend at the Box Office in India. The film has crossed the benchmark of Rs 300 crore with the nett collection of Rs 312.95 crore. This is fantastic considering no Hollywood film has recorded an amount as massive as this after its second weekend at the Indian Box Office. The three days collection of Avengers: Endgame in the second weekend is:
Friday: Rs 12.50 crore
Saturday: Rs 18.30 crore
Sunday: Rs 21.75 crore
Total: Rs 312.95 crore
The film crossed the benchmark of Rs 250 crore within its first week at the Box Office. It registered a collection of Rs 260.40 crore by the end of Thursday, wrapping up the first week at a high. By doing so, it crossed the week 1 collection of all Hindi films by a margin.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the latest Box Office report of Avengers: Endgame. He wrote, “#AvengersEndgame continues to sparkle… Rakes in big numbers on [second] Sat and Sun… Adds ₹ 50 cr+ in Weekend 2, which is remarkable… [Week 2] Fri 12.50 cr, Sat 18.30 cr, Sun 21.75 cr. Total: ₹ 312.95 cr Nett BOC. India biz. Gross BOC: ₹ 372.56 cr.”
Apart from emerging as the second biggest film of all time at the worldwide level, Avengers: Endgame has also become an All Time Blockbuster in India. The film has crossed the earnings of all Hollywood films at the domestic Box Office and is the only proud Hollywood film in the coveted club of Rs 300 crore. Overall, it’s the ninth film to have reached Rs 300 crore at the ticket window in India. The other films are PK (2012), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), Sultan (2016), Dangal (2016), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), Padmaavat (2018), Sanju (2018) and Baahubali 2 (2017). The SS Rajamouli-directorial, is, in fact, the only film to have earned more than Rs 500 crore at the Box Office.
