Actress Priyanka Chopra’s decision to take her husband Nick Jonas’ name came as a surprise to many, but for her, it was just something that she had always wanted to do post marriage. The two had tied the knot at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur in December last year, and following the nuptials, she had added Jonas to her name. Recently, she made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and spoke about her decision.

Dressed in a stunning white power suit, she was welcomed by Jimmy as Priyanka Chopra Jonas. When he said that it is the first time that he is introducing her as such, she said that she is still getting used to it. Jimmy went on to ask her about her decision to add Jonas, and she said that she wanted to add his name because they were becoming a family and she is old school that way. Priyanka also said that it does not take away her identity, but rather he gets added to hers.
