Bollywood star Irrfan Khan is one of the few Bollywood actors, who has been on the rise on global platforms. Not just in India, but the actor has wowed audiences all over the world with his impeccable acting. Irrfan, who has featured in Hollywood films like The Namesake, The Darjeeling Limited, the Academy Award winner Slumdog Millionaire, Life of Pi, New York, I Love You, The Amazing Spider-Man, Jurassic World, and Inferno, is one of the most wanted stars not just in India but also in Hollywood. But the sad is news that the actor has asked his Hollywood agent not to get him any work.

Yes, you read that right. The actor does not want his Hollywood agent to not get him any new film offers, owing to his ill-health. Irrfan is current in the US for his treatment. Last week, Irrfan Khan, who was last seen in Hindi Medium alongside Pakistani actress Saba Qamar Zaman, had posted a tweet where he shared the shocking news that he is suffering from a rare disease and is currently trying to know the details of the disease.

The actor promised his friends, fans and well-wishers that he will update them soon about his illness. As promised, the actor, a few minutes ago, took to his micro-blogging site to share another post to inform about the diagnosis and his health. In his statement, the actor has revealed that he has been diagnosed with NeuroEndocrine Tumour. Irrfan Khan has ended the statement saying he hopes to return with new stories to tell. Ever since his first tweet, a lot has been said and written about the actor’s health condition. People had started speculating that the actor is suffering from blood cancer, however, Irrfan’s friend and film trade analyst had shared a tweet to rubbish all the rumours of the actor’s hospitalisation and said the actor is in Delhi currently. Speaking of his forthcoming film Sapna Didi, speculations are rife that Bhardawaj’s dream project will be shelved as the reports suggest that the Life of Pi actor has apparently headed to the US for treatment. On the professional front, Irrfan Khan will be next seen in Abhinay Deo’s black comedy titled ‘Blackmail’.
