Debutant Mukesh Chhabra’s film The Fault In Our Stars, a Hindi remake of the 2014 Hollywood film, is all set to go on floors soon. While Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has been confirmed (as the leading man) to feature in the official Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood romantic saga, yesterday, the makers of the film announced their leading lady for the film too. Reportedly, newbie Sanjana Sanghi, who was seen in brief roles in Rockstar, Hindi Medium and Fukrey Returns has been roped in to play the character of Hazel Grace Lancaster in The Fault In Our Stars remake.

The Fault in Our Stars author John Green can’t believe that the book is getting a Bollywood remake. After the news of actress Sanjana Sanghi being finalised for the role, on Tuesday, author John Green took to his micro-blogging site to share his excitement about Fault In Our Stars getting a Bollywood version.

Green tweeted, “I can’t believe this is happening. Amazing!” For the uninitiated, The Fault in Our Stars is a 2014 American romantic drama film based on the novel of the same name by John Green. Casting director Mukesh Chhabra, who will make his debut as a director with this film, too replied to Green’s tweet. Chhabra wrote, “Wow. Thank you.” To be bankrolled by Fox Star Studios, the shoot will begin by mid-2018. ALSO READ: The Fault In Our Stars Remake Actress Sanjana Sanghi Is The Freshest Face We Have Seen – View Pics
