Actor Narendra Jha, who was seen in a number of films both in Hindi and regional languages, died of a massive heart attack on March 14. The 55-year-old passed away at his farmhouse in Wada this morning at about 5 AM. He suffered a massive heart attack. This was the third attack that he has had over the years.
The actor was in Wada with his wife Pankaja Thakur as he needed rest after suffering from a minor attack a few days ago. Narendra Jha’s medical treatment was going on in Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. Actor’s wife Pankaja, who is also the former CEO for Central Board of Film Certification, had taken a leave of four months, to be beside her husband and take care of him at their Wada farmhouse. As the news about the actor’s death broke out, condolence messages began pouring on Twitter.

Born in Madhubani, Bihar, Narendra Jha began his small screen journey with Mandira Bedi’s Shanti and went on to model in TV ads. He became a known face with shows like Begusarai, Ek Ghar Banaunga, Supercops vs Supervillains and others. The actor, who is known for his work in films like Raees, Haider and Kaabil among others, was working in a film with Sangram Singh, which is yet to release. Jha was also a part of Prabhas-Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho.
