Kareena Kapoor Khan might be one of the most sought-after Bollywood actresses today but she feels she should have come into the movie business a bit later. The actress is of the opinion that she should have devoted some more years to her studies before making her Bollywood debut. Kareena, now 38, started working in the film industry from the age of 17. She starred in her first Hindi film, JP Dutta’s Refugee when she was 20-years-old.
Now, while interacting with the media recently, the actress revealed how she looks at people around her and realises that even she could have gone to the best of the schools here or abroad to get more education. However, Kareena is clear that she doesn’t want the same to happen with his child, Taimur Ali Khan. The actress wants her little munchkin to finish his education before opting any career for himself.
Kareena took the example of Saif’s family members, who are extremely ‘well read’, to prove how important good education is. She said, “I always feel that I should have started my career a little later. I took a very quick decision and started shooting at the age of 17. I feel that I should have studied a lot more. I could have started doing what I wanted to do which is acting and that I could have done a bit late”.

She added, “Today, that’s what I feel, of course, I couldn’t study a lot and I don’t have a degree, I will always probably push Taimur to finish his education and then do what he wants to do. That’s his choice of what he wants to become in his life. I think that I would push him to finish his education because this is one thing that I would have wished, I should have made that decision a little later”.

This is not the first time Kareena has spoken in the matter. She has been talking about the importance of education at various events and forums. She is often seen taking her own example to explain how people should avoid having this regret in their lives.
