After a number of actresses like Rose McGowan, Cara Delavigne, Lena Headey, Gwenyth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie, Kate Beckinsale and Reese Witherspoon had come forward to accuse the Hollywood movie producer Harvey Weinstein of various sexual assaults, their stories have led the women across the globe to share how they have been sexually assaulted in the past on social media, using the hashtag #MeToo. Even celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence, Bjork and America Ferrera shared their stories about how they have been physically abused by men from the film industry.

From celebrities to commoners, everyone has been partaking, but one celebrity, the former glamour model Katie Price, who admitted in 2009 that she had been raped as a young woman, does not want to partake. The 39-year old refuses to reveal the identity of the celebrity who raped her. While filming her reality show ‘What Katie Did Next’ in 2009, the model had accidentally shared that she was assaulted by a well-known man in the entertainment industry when she was younger, however, police have never been able to investigate as Katie refuses to report it or even reveal the name of the man who raped her. The actress, in a statement to The Sun, told, “I was raped by a celebrity but no, I’ll never name him. I just don’t want the drama. I don’t even know if he knows that I’ve spoken about him, I doubt he does.” While Katie chooses to be mum about the man’s identity, back in 2009, a friend had told The Mirror, “She told how he became violent towards her after not getting his way. At one point he made a move for her throat. It sounded terrible. At the time she was too scared to report it.”
