Day 3 at the Lakme Fashion Week 2018 was a glamorous affair with stars like Sonakshi Sinha, Kalki Koechlin and filmmaker Karan Johar taking to the ramp. Karan and Sonakshi, who are all set to star in the film Welcome To New York turned showstoppers for Phalguni and Shane Peacock while Kalki turned heads on the ramp for designer duo Monic and Karishma – the women behind the Amoh By Jade label.

Sonakshi and Karan looked like perfect rockstars in their all Black outfit, with Karan dying his hair grey for added effect. They were like pros on the runaway and it looked like they were having fun playing showstoppers. Kalki on the other hand wore a golden-beige lehenga choli with a modern, chic twist and looked ethereal with her hair flowing down in loose waves. Check out the pictures below:

Casting a black magic spell

The Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2018 got a great start with Shahid Kapoor And Mira Rajput ending the first day with a bang, making their ramp debut as a couple for Anita Dongre. We have seen Taapsee Pannu, Kunal Kapoor, now KJo, Sonakshi, Kalki amongst others walk the ramp. But this is not all. The fashion week ends on February 5 and the grand finale is going to be an event to look forward to.

The closing show will showcase designs by Anamika Khanna with none other than Kareena Kapoor Khan walking the ramp as the showstoppers. We know how she is a vision on the ramp and we cannot wait to see what she will wear and know the latest makeup trend that she will spark when she takes over the ramp. Interestingly, her sister Karisma Kapoor is also slated to walk the ramp on the same day in an earlier show – for Ravi Bhalotia’s Aarbee. So we might see Karisma stay back to cheer for sister Kareena when she closes the fashion week later.

Stay tuned to for all the updates from the ramp.
