In this song, Salman Khan had a kite-flying competition with Aishwarya Rai’s family. With fun, family and romance, Dheel De celebrated the true spirit of Makar Sankranti.
Ruth Aa Gayi Re (Earth 1947)
In it, Aamir Khan was seen teaching kite flying to Nandita Das. Their chemistry made it look more beautiful. The song is perfect to play on the occasion.
Manjha (Kai Po Che)
The title of the film was based on the Kite Flying festival – Kai Po Che! The film had a popular song Manjha which means the string used to fly the kites. The movie was based on Chetan Bhagat’s book 3 Mistakes of My Life and marked the Bollywood debut of Sushant Singh Rajput.
Though this is not a kite flying song, it captured the spirit of the festival. In it, Pulkit Samrat was seen sending a message to Priya Anand through a kite.
