Yesterday it was announced that Shraddha Kapoor’s most awaited film Haseena Parker, that was slated to release on July 14th, will now release on August 18th to avoid its clash with Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif’s rom-com Jagga Jasoos.  However, looks like that’s not the only movie that is set to release that day.

Rajkumar Rao starrer movie, Newton is set to clash with the much awaited, Haseena Parker.  Produced by Drishyam Films, who have churned out critically acclaimed movies like Aankhon Dekhi, Masaan and Dhanak, is an Indian black comedy that features Rao as a an amateur government clerk, who is sent on election duty to a naxal-controlled town in the strife-ridden jungles of Chhattisgarh. The movie depicts his struggles in conducting free and fair voting  amid the indifference of security forces and an impending fear of guerrilla attacks by communist rebels. Hansal Mehta and Rajkumar Rao who have worked on many films together, like Shahid and Aligarh, released the movie poster today that has Rao running with the voting ballot in his hand.  (ALSO READ: Haseena Parkar teaser to be out soon!
