Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor starrer Padmaavat has emerged as the box office winner since its release. Audiences across the globe are showering immense love on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic period drama, which is achieving new milestones with each passing day. Veterans Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Javed Akhtar to young stars like Alia Bhatt too have expressed their awe and appreciation towards Deepika and Ranveer’s performance in the film. Padmaavat is still riding high and has been on a massive run at the box-office. Akshay Kumar’s PadMan’s run at the box office is having ZERO effect on Ranveer Singh’s film. Padmaavat, which has become the highest grossing film till date, has raked in Rs 257 crore, according to Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh.
The latest reports suggest that Ranveer’s film earned Rs 3.20 crore yesterday (Monnday) and now stands with the grand total of Rs 257 crore at the domestic box office. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh today took to his social media handle to share the official collection of this blockbuster movie, he wrote, “ [Week 3] Fri 3.50 cr, Sat 6.30 cr, Sun 8 cr, Mon 3.20 cr. Padmaavat has entered the 200 crore club within two weeks of its release and with this Ranveer, at the age of 32, has become the youngest actor in Bollywood to have entered the coveted club at the domestic box office. Hence, success has lead to the actor’s price hike. According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, the actor has increased his fee to Rs 13 crore, which is the exact price that his rumoured girlfriend Deepika Padukone charges for a film. Helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Padmaavat has garnered much appreciation, especially it’s leading actors – Ranveer, Deepika, Shahid – for the portrayal of their respective characters in the film.
